The future’s bright,
it’s just the beginning
Independant living skills for Care Leavers
We understand the challenges young people face when they leave care and Bright Beginnings was formed to plug this gap. Moving from a children’s home, foster care or a family home can be very daunting but we believe that our friendly nature, experience, and qualifications in working with young people and trauma mean that we can support them through this move. Every young person has the right to live in a safe, nurturing home of a high- quality standard.

Our Accommodation
At Bright Beginnings we are proud of the accommodation that we provide and believe that it reflects our commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the young people in our care. When sourcing the accommodation, we assess the local area and needs to ensure the safety of all residents.
We provide supported accommodation to young females aged 16-18 in a shared home staffed 24/7. In addition, we also have outreach flats for those ready to live independently. In both settings we offer flexible and tailored packages of support to meet the needs of the individual.
The Woodlands
The home is nestled amongst a beautiful, wooded area on the outskirts of Hereford. Just a short walk to the bus stop which has regular buses into town. Inside the home are four bedrooms, an office, lounge, kitchen diner and utility as well as a downstairs toilet and bathroom.
Outreach Flats
Our ‘transition’ outreach apartments is open to individuals who are 18 years old. These one-bedroom flats promote independence and adhere to the highest fire safety and health standards. They are also equipped with high-quality furnishings and are accessible to both male and female residents.
